angel has the input over what photos she would like me paint but for these two paintings angel had control of the background colours and getting involved in the creative process by adding her own personal drawings in relation to what her thoughts and feelings were behind the image.
for the first image angel chose the colour purple as she stated that its a very "misunderstood colour" and she connects with the colour as she feels she can be misunderstood too. in the background is lots of doodles that she created based on what angel is doing in the image (revision) she doesn't like school which you can see by the messages she has wrote
for the second image is one of the only paintings I have captured angel beaming with joy and she wanted to emphasise this joy by painting the background yellow as to her it is a happy colour. the images angel has contributed to this painting are mainly about her cat Ringo who she adores.
